Summary: After having to give up her boyfriend Josh, Cammie has to go to D.C. to be debriefed. When she comes back home to The Gallagher Academy she finds that the East Wing is closed off and off limits to all the Girls at the Academy, making the trip to their classes and dorms ten minutes longer then normal.
As things start to change, against Cammie's wishes for everything to go back to normal, she notices that her mom is acting strangely. Despite Cammie's best intentions to be a normal student, danger seems to follow her. She and her friends learn that their school is going to play host to some mysterious guest- code name: Blackthorne.
Soon Cammie and her friends are crawling through the walls and surveilling the school to learn the truth about Blackthorne. Even though they have confidence in their spy skills, this time the targets are tougher (and hotter), and the stakes for Cammie's heart- and her beloved school- are higher than ever.
Review: I love how this book is a new twist on romance. While on a mission in D.C. with her CoveOps class she is seen again. That's when she meets Zach, she is refusing to let herself fall for any more boys but you can feel her slipping even though Ally Carter doesn't come right out and say that she is, you can see how Zach is so hard to forget and keep away, especially with knowing how he knows her true identity, unlike Josh. As for me I find myself leaning towards Zach, even though Josh is perfect in almost every way, Zach seems to be able to understand Cammie for who she is. So therefore I am totally TEAM ZACH!
     (The reason I find myself rating this book only four stars is because of the Code Black incident in which everyone blames Cammie, which isn't her fault, you never find out why there was a Code Black and I find myself wishing for that information.)
